WHAT WILL HAPPEN THAT DAY:
- Volunteers will conduct eye-chart vision tests and refract participants’ (children’s and adults’) eyes using electronic equipment.
- Optometrists will fine-tune the prescription. They will write up the prescription for you to take it any place to fulfill it.
- If you need eyeglasses, volunteers from the Lions Club of Denver can provide you with recycled eyeglasses for those with near- and far-sightedness.
- We will have readers for those whose near-vision is impaired due to aging.
- In certain instances the Club can provide custom-made glasses as well, using new eyeglass frames that we will have on hand. (The Clubs’ funds are limited, however, so it cannot commit to this in all instances.)
