Get ready for an inspiring and heartwarming experience at the “Elevating Voices, Empowering Lives” Conference on Maternal Mental Health, hosted by the Colorado Black Health Collaborative! Join us on Monday, October 14th, from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM at the Lowry Conference Center in Aurora, CO, for a day of learning, connection, and community.
This exciting event is designed to shine a spotlight on the unique maternal mental health challenges faced by Black women and the disparities in care they often encounter. You won’t want to miss our incredible keynote speaker, Creinthea Chritz, followed by an engaging panel discussion moderated by our very own Dr. Shakari Hood. The panel will dive deep into pre-written questions, but will also leave space for your burning questions!
Come hungry because we’ll be serving a delicious brunch from Two Sistahs Catering. You’ll leave this event with a full stomach and a heart full of empowerment. Together, we’ll break down the stigma surrounding mental health and foster stronger connections between the community and providers.
