REGISTRATION FOR RACE TALK UNIVERSITY DIALOGUE AND DAY OF ACTION IS NOW OPEN!
Dr. Timothy Tyler, the Pastor of Shorter Community AME Church, Denver & Dr. Nita Mosby Tyler, The Chief Catalyst/Founder of the Equity Project, LLC and the HR Shop, have been meeting with an intergenerational/ interracial Cohort of approximately 50 people in what they call the Race Talk University.
The purpose of the cohort is to reimagine & envision systems free of racism/white supremacy. Those who are participating in the 9 week study action group have been learning how to lead active conversations about racism and white supremacy in their own communities and networks. The sessions, made possible by a grant from the Rose Foundation, have been very intimate and eye-opening modules.
Dr. Timothy and Dr. Nita are excited about hosting the center-piece event, The Race Talk University: Dialogue & a Day of Action on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 9:00am-12:00pm at Shorter Community AME Church,3100 Richard Allen Court, Denver, Colorado, 80205.
